The festive season is all about traditions but more than that, it’s about the people and communities that make those traditions meaningful. That’s why our My Festive Moment Competition was created - to celebrate the moments that bring us together.
We received wonderful entries, each capturing the joy, warmth, and traditions that make this time of year so special.
From Christmas trees to family moments, your entries truly captured the festive spirit from across our communities.
This year’s winners:
- Cara Woodman, from Falmouth, has won with a family photo with her son Zachary in front of a big Christmas tree at Truro Cathedral.
- Rebecca Smith, from Totnes, who makes Christmas Eve truly special for her family with their annual disco dance competition and karaoke night! For them, it’s all about laughter, music, and sharing the festive spirit - creating memories that last a lifetime.
- Julie Turnbull, from Street in Somerset, has won with her two Cockapoos, Flo and Lilly, joined by their doggy friends on a much-loved Christmas dog walk.
James Reseigh, our Director of Neighbourhoods, said: “It’s wonderful to see the festive spirit from across our communities.
“Hosting our My Festive Moment Competition is a fantastic way to bring residents together and celebrate what makes this season so special.
“We really appreciate everyone who took the time to share their photos and, as a dog lover and someone who adores Christmas, I can honestly say the winning entries have beautifully captured the magic of this time of year.
“Congratulations to all our winners—and thank you to everyone who took part!”
Each winner will receive a brand-new TOWER air fryer, perfect for creating delicious dishes during the winter.
Thank you to everyone who took part and shared their festive moments with us.
