We are pleased to have played a significant part in the build of a summerhouse therapy room in Plymouth.
Summerhouse

As part of our commitment to building homes and communities that our customers love to live in, we have worked in partnership with Travis Perkins Managed Services to fund and build a summerhouse therapy room for our customers using our Plymouth Mental Health Accommodation Service (PMHAS).

LiveWest colleague volunteers to help to transform an empty space the summerhouse that contains sensory equipment, books, plants and furniture used to aid and improve wellbeing.

Joanna Cole, LiveWest Activities Coordinator said ''We are all very proud to have been involved in this project. We all worked together to create the summerhouse. We can now hold regular groups in the summerhouse focussing on art and mindfulness. We will also use the space for confidential one to one meetings with customers within a safe space away from other customers, the summerhouse now leaves a legacy and will support future customers and their mental health recovery.''

Andrew Eascott, LiveWest PMHAS Team Manager said: ''This has been a great joint project, which will have so many fantastic benefits for current and future customers, thank you so much to our volunteer colleagues who spent the day with us building the summerhouse.''
