Earlier this week Homes England, the government’s investment agency, announced a new wave of 31 strategic partnerships to build much needed affordable homes across the country.
The announcement is part of the government’s wider commitment to provide nearly £8.6 billion for affordable homes, helping thousands of young people and families get on the housing ladder, and providing secure, affordable housing to those who need it most.
As part of this announcement, LiveWest is absolutely delighted to have been selected as one of Homes England’s Strategic Partners on the back of our strong track record of developing affordable homes.
This year LiveWest is on track to deliver 1,100 new affordable homes for rent and shared ownership in addition to completing around 106 homes for outright sale and looking ahead, this additional funding will be invaluable in supporting our significant and ambitious development programme of around 7,000 much needed new affordable homes over the next five years across the south west, investing around £2bn into the regional economy.
