How would you improve our services?

Our InFocus group is looking for new members to have their say about our services.
Members of InFocus.

We are looking for customers to join our InFocus group, which helps to shape and improve our services.

If you have ideas for how we could improve what we offer to customers or want to make sure your voice is heard, joining our customer scrutiny group, InFocus, could be the perfect opportunity for you.

What is InFocus?

InFocus is a group of customers who work with us to help improve the services we offer. It provides an opportunity to share ideas and get your feedback heard, with the group having had a huge impact on a number of projects and services. Recent work includes reviewing our Customer Services Strategy, our 2022 rent review communications, our Housing Ombudsman Complaints Handling self-assessment, and our updated Tenure Policy.

There are three different ways you can get involved depending on your interests and time:

Policy, strategy, performance

Share your views on the policies and strategies we develop to deliver for our customers, and look at our performance to decide what you would like to review. This role can take around an hour each week of your time.

Service reviews

Investigate the different services we offer, meet with senior members of our team involved in that service to ask questions and make recommendations for improvements. Our InFocus members have recently reviewed complaint handling, service charges and value for money. This role can take around three hours each week of your time.

Be a friend of InFocus

If you would like to get involved but do not have much time to spare, you can support InFocus by signing up to be a friend of the group. As a friend of InFocus, you can support the group by sharing your experiences of services with them, and by commenting on their reports and recommendations. This role can take up as much or as little time as you would like to give.

What will you get from being part of InFocus?

There are a number of benefits you will get from joining InFocus, including meeting other customers, building confidence, improving LiveWest homes and services, hearing others views and experiences and finding out more about the work we do at LiveWest.

How much time will you need to commit?

Many of the discussions and opportunities to give feedback will be online so you won’t need to leave your home, and you will be able to get involved around your schedule. You can also commit as much time as you would like to give; any time you can give makes a huge difference.
The Chair of InFocus, James, recently talked about his experience of being part of the group:

How to get involved

You can apply to join InFocus here. Once you have registered your interest, a member of our team will be in touch to give you more information and answer any questions you may have.

We are committed to representing the views of our diverse customer base and want InFocus to be representative of that. We are keen to hear from as many customers as possible, but we particularly welcome applications from those from an ethnic minority background, the LGBTQ+ community, customers under the age of 45, and shared owners.
