We are aware of a gas outage in Kingsbridge, Salcombe and Malborough in South Devon. This has been affecting around 450 of our homes since Saturday 3 January.
This issue is being sorted by West and Wales Utilities, who supply gas to the area. They are giving regular updates, so please visit their website for the latest news. We are aware of the issue and want to make sure our customers are supported.
As West and Wales Utilities continue to fix the problem, they may ask to enter homes in the area. If you are affected, giving access to contractors working on the issue can help to get things resolved as quickly as possible.

Electric heaters
Some customers may have been offered electric heaters. These can give homes much needed short term warmth. To make the most of their heat, make sure they are being used in rooms that need the most heat, with doors and windows kept shut to trap the heat.
It is important to stay safe when using electric heaters to avoid fires. Never cover electric heaters, and keep an eye on them to check they are not overheating.
