Throughout June we are celebrating Pride month.
Pride month is dedicated to celebrating LGBTQ+ communities all around the world.
This month celebrates the work of LGBTQ+ people, promotes education in LGBTQ+ history, and raises awareness of issues affecting the LGBTQ+ community, such as homophobia.
Why are we celebrating Pride?
As part of our equality, diversity and inclusion commitments, we want to make sure our customers and colleagues feel valued and embrace each other’s differences.
By recognising important campaigns, such as Pride month, this gives us a valuable opportunity to celebrate our diversity and have conversations to help us learn and make positive change together.
How are we celebrating Pride?
At LiveWest, we are celebrating Pride month by educating our colleagues on LGBTQ+ history and the best ways to support friends and family members in the LGBTQ+ community. We are platforming the voices of our colleagues within the LGBTQ+ community, listening to their stories and sharing their thoughts on LGBTQ+ issues.
In celebration of our colleagues and customers in the LGBTQ+ community, we are temporarily changing our logo across our social media accounts during Pride month.
