We've partnered with Vistry Group to deliver 175 new homes in Roche, in the heart of mid-Cornwall, helping to meet growing demand for housing in the county.
The major residential development will offer a mix of one, two, three and four-bedroom homes, with half of our homes being offered as affordable housing.
The development will also feature welcoming community spaces and thoughtfully designed green spaces, bringing residents together while supporting local wildlife initiatives.
Gareth Jones, our Development Director at LiveWest, said: “We’re delighted that works will soon begin to develop these much-needed affordable homes in Roche. LiveWest is using national funding to deliver a significant number of additional homes for social rent, helping to address the acute shortage of genuinely affordable housing across Cornwall.
“The investment will support the delivery of new, high quality homes for people on lower incomes, ensuring more households can access secure, affordable and energy efficient housing in the communities they call home.

The project continues to build on LiveWest’s strong track record of delivering high-quality homes across Cornwall.
Last year, we completed a 100 per cent affordable housing development in Troon, providing 37 homes for affordable rent and eight for shared ownership.
More recently, we’ve delivered 79 affordable homes at Foxes Field in Penzance, including 24 homes prioritised for people with a local connection, helping residents remain in the communities they call home.
Elsewhere in Cornwall, construction is also progressing well on 195 affordable homes in Launceston, delivered in partnership with Vistry Group.
