For many families, the holiday season can be a time of financial strain, and this initiative was designed to make sure no child feels left out during the festive season.
Working closely with local professionals in Somerset, families most in need were identified and referred, ensuring the project reached those who would benefit most.

“Projects like these make a real difference for our customers and communities, and we’re proud to have played a part by donating and supporting the event.”
Thanks to the incredible efforts of organisations including LiveWest, Magna, Abri, Victoria Park Community Centre, Sedgemoor Community Connect, The Hub – Bridgwater, Sedgemoor FM, and Bridgwater Town Council, this project was made possible.
At the Christmas event, held at Victoria Park Community Centre, there was also a Santa Claus in his grotto, arts and crafts, a Christmas disco by Sedgemoor FM, and refreshments.
We were proud to play a part by contributing gifts through LiveWest funding and generous colleague donations from our Weston office. We also hosted a Christmas decoration craft activity, adding an extra touch of creativity to the day.
Community projects like this do more than provide gifts—they help reduce financial stress for families, create joyful memories for children, strengthen community connections, and promote social value.
