About your purchase

Identity check

In order to comply with anti-money laundering regulations (AML), we will need you to complete an identity check using CREDAS. CREDAS is a secure, customer friendly portal, which enables us to complete these checks.

You will need to provide your full legal name as it appears on your identity documents.  If you provide us with a pseudonym or assumed name, such as your middle name, the identity check will fail, and this will delay your purchase.

If you are adding a partner, we will also need you to declare their full legal name and how they would like to receive the check. Please see below.

Legal representation

You will need to use a solicitor to carry out the legal due diligence and make any changes (if relevant) at the land registry. You can find a list of solicitors who have experience with shared ownership here.

If you have already chosen your solicitor, please confirm the firm that you will be using below.

If you are adding a partner

If you are buying more shares but not acquiring 100%, and it is your intention to add somebody new onto the lease, we will need to complete affordability checks, to ensure that the new owners still meet the relevant criteria for the shared ownership scheme.

We will need your partner to complete an identity check using CREDAS.  Please confirm the following information:
