Carthew House provides accommodation for up to eight young people aged 16-24 years old. It is situated within a cul-de-sac so there is on the street parking available.
There are seven single flats and fully furnished except for washing machines and dryers and one crash pad. Onsite we have a large communal training kitchen, laundry room, a living area, sofas and a TV, two offices, a number of smaller quiet rooms, a conservatory and two garages for storage. It also has a large garden which is both paved and grass.
Our support team are based on site and is 24 hour with a waking night intensive housing worker.
Referrals to Carthew House are via Cornwall Council’s Youth Homelessness Team, children’s service, or self-referral for young parents.
Carthew House is Ofsted registered and a member of Foyer Federation.
