Trees

We manage over 36,000 trees, which we regard as a valuable asset. We aim to manage our trees in a responsible way, to manage risk and allow the trees to continue providing their many benefits to neighbourhoods.

We regularly survey our trees, and when we have to carry out any work required, we will always try to notify people in advance. We won’t prune or remove trees unless there are strong reasons to do so, and we try and plant as many new trees as possible.

If you have any issues with trees owned by LiveWest you can look at our tree management plan. It explains how we manage trees in a range of different circumstances and should answer any questions you might have. If you think we need to be aware of an issue with our trees, you can speak to your Housing Officer or our Customer Service team.
