This Volunteers' Week, we're shining a light on the contributions our colleagues make to our communities through our volunteering opportunities.
At LiveWest, giving back is an essential part of who we are. That’s why we offer every colleague four volunteering days each year - paid time off that they can use to support causes close to their hearts.
Whether it’s helping out at a local food bank, mentoring young people, participating in environmental projects, or assisting community groups, our team is encouraged and supported to make a difference.
Volunteering not only benefits the communities we serve, but also helps our colleagues develop new skills, broaden their experiences, and strengthen their connections with one another.
Jen Pulsford, our Reward Manager, explains:
“Volunteering through LiveWest gives our colleagues the chance to give back to the communities we serve, build new skills, and connect with other colleagues in a meaningful way. It’s more than a day out of the office — it’s a powerful way to live our values and make a real difference.”
Volunteering is part of our culture and reflects our ongoing commitment to social responsibility.
As we celebrate Volunteers' Week, we’re inspired by the enthusiasm of our teams and look forward to continuing this important work together.
