As part of our continued commitment to supporting customers and their local communities, we were thrilled to have been able to support North Roskear Meadow, Cornwall last month through the funding of £275 for a community fun day during the school summer holidays.
The event took place on Wednesday 28 August in Camborne, Cornwall and families enjoyed fun activities such as a bouncy castle, sumo-wrestling suits, face painting, and circus-skills training.
Mai Evans, LiveWest Community Connector said: ‘'The underwater-themed bouncy castle said it all as I got soaked setting up for the day but despite the weather, we all had fun and finally the sun came out! LiveWest colleagues showed off their secret skills of face painting and circus skills during the day. The sumo wrestling was a real hit! There were many ideas shared too about how to improve relationships and enhance the area.''
