Moving in and completion day
We understand many of you will have growing concerns about coronavirus. The safety of our customers, staff and contractors remains our number one priority. We have therefore taken steps to help reduce risks to our customers and staff during the current coronavirus threat and have prepared the following information for shared ownership customers to help when moving into their new homes.
A step by step guide for completion day will be emailed to all new customers from your personal LiveWest consultant once we have agreed your completion and moving in day.
Please ensure you watch this video to understand the steps you will need to take once you have access to your property.
We will send all new customers a link what will contain your new homes completion documents for signing and returning back to the sales team within 7 days after completion.
- We would kindly ask that you take photos on the day of your completion of the meter readings and email to the sales team, so that we can update the relevant utility providers accordingly, this will be water, electricity and gas if applicable. If your property is supplied with Eon heating, open the cupboard to where your hear instillation is located and read the number of the front of the unit. This will mean that we can pay any outstanding amounts owed prior to you moving in. Please send this to the sales team within 24 hours.
- For any new home repairs please refer to the completion checklist and your new home guide for this.
- Once you have opened your key safe, please keep this at your property and we will arrange to collect this at a later date.
